Pricing for Commissions
Thinking of commissioning a pyrographic burning?
Then this is the page for you!
I create original pieces that are made to order. The artwork is designed for you based on your ideas and wishes.
Hours of work goes into each design... (anywhere from 15 hours
up to 100 hours+), therefore, the cost of this time consuming
and specialty art is reflected in the prices.
It all starts with a simple email...
I often work from photos sent via email.
If you should have a special photo you may want done,
I can create you a lasting treasure from your photo!
You can either send me a digital photo via e-mail or a hard copy photo sent to my house. If you send via e-mail...it must be sent using
300 dpi or higher.
Also, it must be large enough and CLEAR enough
for me to enlarge it to a size 8" x 10".
I like to discuss a special order project with the client before quoting
an actual price. Once your photo is reviewed by me, I will contact you
via email to discuss your wishes, size wanted, medium wanted,
time frame, and any special details you may want.
(Shipping and Handling are not included in the quoted price.)
Artist's fees depend on a wide variety of factors....
Such as the number of people, animals, etc. in the picture.
Quality of the photograph being used, complexity of hair or clothing,
(Young children and women are slightly more difficult).
The medium used to create the piece. Backgrounds cost extra.
Custom pieces range in price
from $250 to 800+,
depending on size, medium, detail and preparation.

The Burning Begins
When I have the final plan, I can start the burning. I share the development of the burning with the customer by sending emails or posting images on my site.
TERMS: Due to the custom nature of the product and time involved,
(A 50% Non-Refunable deposit is required)
on all special orders prior to commencing the project.
This covers expenses for my research time, etc. up to this point.
(PayPal offers secure internet
transactions and is preferred.)
Final payment is due upon completion.
Final payment must be sent before the
commissioned artwork is shipped to you.
Normal lead time is 4- 6 weeks plus shipping...
(My travel schedule may alter this, as will work already in progress.)
